This tour requires a moderate fitness level. Most locations are accessible by vehicle or short cable car rides, with easy to moderate walks (30-60 minutes) on mountain trails. No technical climbing skills needed. The main challenge is occasional early morning starts for sunrise photography.

We keep our groups intimate with a maximum of 10 participants to ensure personalized attention, better photography opportunities, and flexibility at each location.

Essential: Camera with manual settings (DSLR or mirrorless), wide-angle lens (14-24mm), medium zoom (24-70mm or 24-105mm), sturdy tripod, remote shutter release, extra batteries, and plenty of memory cards. Recommended: Polarizing filter (essential for blue skies and reducing reflections), ND filters for long exposures with waterfalls and lakes, headlamp for sunrise/sunset shoots.

July offers pleasant summer alpine weather with daytime temperatures around 20-28°C (68-82°F) in the valleys. Higher altitudes are cooler. Mornings and evenings can be fresh (10-15°C), so bring layers. Occasional summer afternoon thunderstorms add dramatic photo opportunities.

We stay in carefully selected hotels in strategic locations (Cortina area for 3 nights, South Tyrol for 3 nights). All rooms are private with ensuite bathrooms. Hotels are chosen for comfort, proximity to photo locations, and authentic alpine atmosphere.

You can book online by card: pay a non-refundable deposit of $1,500 per person to secure your seat, or pay in full. The remaining balance is due 60 days before the tour start date. The full price is $4,400 per photographer in a shared twin room, $5,400 with a single room, and $3,900 for a non-photographer companion sharing your twin room.

EU citizens do not need a visa. US, Canadian, Australian, and many other nationalities can enter Italy visa-free for up to 90 days. Check your specific country's requirements before booking.

While not mandatory, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel delays. Mountain weather can be unpredictable and trip adjustments may be necessary.

Yes, non-photographers are welcome and pay $500 less than the full price ($3,900) when sharing your twin room. They will enjoy the incredible alpine landscapes, mountain culture, charming South Tyrolean villages, and scenic hikes, though the itinerary is designed primarily for photography with early morning starts.

All hotels have standard European power outlets (230V, Type C/F plugs). Bring appropriate adapters for your equipment. Power banks are useful for day trips. Phone signal is generally good in most areas of the Dolomites.
